Capital Helicopters is a proud Yukon-owned and operated charter company based in Whitehorse. For over 25 years, they have served the North, providing reliable helicopter services for a variety of operations, including mining exploration, geological surveys, camp support, and fire suppression.

Challenge

Managing helicopter maintenance, journey logs, compliance reminders, and hangar monitoring through traditional methods has resulted in operational inefficiencies and risks. The lack of a centralized digital system has led to fragmented record-keeping, delayed inspections, and limited visibility into maintenance workflows. These issues negatively impact safety, fleet readiness, and operational responsiveness.

Solution

We developed a custom web application from the ground up using Airtable, Xano, and a specifically designed front end. This solution includes features for digital maintenance tracking, journey logging, and a real-time TV dashboard for hangars. It empowers teams with seamless access, automated alerts, and comprehensive oversight.
