Blood Ties Four Directions Centre

A digital home that puts help within reach

MBDC rebuilt the Blood Ties Four Directions Centre website to lift engagement, simplify donations and support health equity in the Yukon.

Challenge

Blood Ties Four Directions Centre started life as the AIDS Yukon Alliance in 1993 and has grown into an organization built around equal access to health and wellness, guided by harm reduction. People reach a site like this at difficult moments, often on a phone, often quickly, and the old site made them work for it. Blood Ties needed a home that carried its history and its values while making current information and a way to give both easy to find.

Solution

We rebuilt the site in Webflow around engagement and clarity. A streamlined news feed keeps the community current, and a straightforward payment gateway makes donating quick rather than an act of persistence. The design honours where Blood Ties came from and points at where it is going: community health and social equality for everyone.

Results

Help is now a tap away rather than a search. News reaches the community as it happens, donating takes a minute, and the site holds the organization’s history and its direction in the same calm frame.
