MBDC joined forces with the Council of Yukon First Nations to curate a website that combines First Nations' traditional knowledge with western science to revitalize and protect Yukon salmon populations. This digital platform—developed on Webflow—is rooted in deep cultural significance, with dedicated space for celebrating the role salmon plays in First Nations heritage. While unifying 14 Yukon First Nations together with the federal and territorial governments, the platform is also a gathering place for salmon advocates throughout the Pacific region, including British Columbia, Washington State and Alaska. Interactive pages like the Yukon Salmon Knowledge Hub promote shared research and salmon conservation, through traditional and modern methods.
